Shan Ogdemli grew up traveling the world with her globe trotting parents; experiencing life in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Hawaii and finally ending up in California, where she now resides with her husband and son In the Hollywood Hills. Her work has been influenced by the colors and the patterns of the diverse cultures she's experienced, along with her love of pop culture and fashion. "I've always lived In places with vibrant colors and I believe that colors make you more alive and more aware of everything around you. If you really look at something closely enough you can feel how you are being affected. It can be the subject that brings up a distant memory, but it's the colors that stir up an emotional reaction."
Shan has worked as an artist, illustrator, designer, art director and creative director since graduating in 1983 with honors and a full scholarship from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Upon graduation she and her husband, Daniel Feldman founded Ogdemli Feldman Design + Illustration which over the years grew to a staff of over 10 talented designers and illustrators working under Shan's creative direction.
